Oversize Extra Deep Filter Canister
The oversize extra deep carbon filter canister is a core of the AirPura T600 air filtration system. It accommodates a colossal amount (26 lbs.) of activated granulated carbon adsorbent and is similar to the canister used in the model AirPura C600. Such a massive amount of adsorbent in combination with the extended dwelling time in extra deep 3-inch carbon bed renders a remarkable adsorption capacity for most toxic chemicals in tobacco (cigar and cigarette), wildfire and wood burning smoke including:

• Acetone
• Ammonia
• Benzene
• Cresol
• Creosote
• Formaldehyde
• Hydrogen cyanide
• Phenol
• Toluene
• and nearly 400 other harmful toxic chemicals.

HEPA-Barrier Post Filter
The oversize carbon canister leaves not enough room inside the AirPura T600 for placement of the standard size True HEPA filter. The HEPA-Barrier post filter is used in lieu of True HEPA filter to ensure an adequate removal of sub-micron airborne contaminants and fine ash in tobacco and other types of smoke.

Tar-Barrier Pre Filter
The special Tar-Barrier Pre filter is used in lieu of the standard polyester pre-filter to trap and hold tars in cigar and cigarette smoke and protect the air filtration system from faster contamination by sticky tars in tobacco smoke.

Top and Bottom Felt Gasket
The chemically inert top and bottom felt gaskets are used in AirPura T600 to pressure seal the filter compartment and thus eliminate polluted air by-pass.

AirPura T600 Motor Fan

AirPura T600 is powered by the same high quality, energy efficient backward curved motorized impeller (Motor/Fan).
The single-piece motor-fan assembly is is factory balanced to ensure the vibration and noise-free operation.
Rated at an impressive air flow of 560 CFM, it ensures that AirPura T600 provides a sufficient number of air changes per hour (ACH) to purify large areas up to 2000 sq. ft.
The variable speed selector with integrated On/Off switch helps easily find the most suitable speed setting for all air cleaning applications.
As an essential part of AirPura chemically inert concept design, the electric motor, wiring and electric components are placed in a separate chamber. This help to eliminate their contact with already filtered air past the filters and prevent its possible re-contamination.
